Summary

Lighthouse is seeking a Freight Sales Representative with exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to negotiate and close deals, to join our rapidly growing team! To succeed in this role, you need exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, strong verbal and written communication, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment utilizing technology, proven experience with high call volume in a sales environment, and the ability to multitask, anticipate, triage, and troubleshoot problems before or as they arise. Sales experience and service industry experience are preferred, but we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

As a Freight Sales Representative, you will focus on:

• Learning the industry
• Managing day-to-day operations
• Creating solutions that result in better customer and carrier experiences.
• You will use our technology to make appointments, enter shipments, negotiate rates, book carriers, manage inbound calls, emails, and messages, and fulfill other tactical operational requirements.
• Prospect and develop new business, foster relationships with customers, document all interactions in the Logistics Platform, and anticipate and solve challenges faced by prospects and customers.

Our second-year Freight Brokers, on average, are closing in on six-figures.
